CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- Ramon Morla had three hits and reached base safely five times to fuel Jackson's eleven-hit attack in Thursday night's 7-4 win over Chattanooga at AT&T Field.
The last-place Lookouts (12-20 in second half, 47-55 overall) have now lost five straight and 12 of their last 14.
Morla collected three singles and walked twice while helping the Generals rally from an early 3-1 deficit. His RBI-single to left provided the go-ahead run in a three-run fourth that put Jackson ahead for good.
Jack Marder and Gabriel Noreaga had two hits apiece and combined to drive in four runs. Marder delivered an RBI-single in the second and an RBI-triple in the fourth before adding his night with a sacrifice fly in the fifth.
Chattanooga starter Chris Reed (3-8) gave up five hits and walked six while giving up four runs in just three innings. He pitched to four batters in the fourth without recording an out before being pulled after throwing just 37 strikes in 75 pitches.
J.T. Wise ripped a two-run double to left in the first to give the Lookouts an early 2-0 lead. The advantage was 3-1 in the third after Ozzie Martinez doubled to right.
Matt Wallach, who along with Joc Pederson finished with two hits for the Lookouts, doubled off the right field wall in the sixth to score Chattanooga's final run.
The two teams will play game four of the five-game series at 7:15 p.m. ET Friday night.
