A Good Samaritan's attempted act of kindness resulted in a carjacking Wednesday after midnight in the 7200 block of Igou Gap Road in Chattanooga.

The victims were traveling east on Igou Gap Road when they noticed a young male lying in the ditch along the roadway.

They stopped to help the young male, and three other armed males approached them and stole their vehicle.

The suspects then fled, but were located by police in the 3500 block of Ridgeside Road.

All four suspects were found inside the car and were arrested on the charge of carjacking. All are minors.
