SEC announces start time for early UT and UGA games

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (SEC/UT) -- The Southeastern Conference released the early season television schedule on Tuesday, finalizing kickoff times for the first three 2013 Tennessee football games have been finalized.

The Vols' season opener against Austin Peay on Aug. 31 is set for a 6 p.m. ET kickoff and is a pay-per-view broadcast. Additionally, the Tennessee–Western Kentucky game on Sept. 7 has been set for a 12:21 p.m. ET kickoff and will be broadcast on the SEC Network.

As previously announced, Tennessee's game at Oregon on Sept. 14 will be a 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT kickoff and will air on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. The game will be the Vols' first on the West Coast since opening the 2008 campaign at the Rose Bowl against UCLA. UT and Oregon met in Knoxville on Sept. 11, 2010.

The SEC also announced that Georgia's game against South Carolina on Sept. 7 will kick at 4:30 p.m. ET and will be televised by ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. The Bulldogs' season-opener against Clemson in the Georgia Dome was previously announced as a 7 p.m. ET start.
