Good Tuesday. It will be all about the heat and humidity for the eastern U.S., including the Tennessee Valley.
Our normal high for today is 90 degrees. We will be in the low to mid 90s all week. Factor in the humidity, and you will have feels like temps near 100 degrees. While I can't completely rule out one or two late day showers, they are not likely until later in the week.
High pressure to our north is picking up moisture from the Atlantic, and shooting it into the area, increasing our humidity levels. Little of that will translate into rain through Wednesday as that high pressure also provides for some very stable air.
The high pressure begins to break up on Thursday allowing a few more showers and storms to develop during the afternoon hours.
The rain chance gets even a little higher Friday through the weekend as a weak cold front approaches and moves through.
