Trappers remove a huge 11-foot crocodile from Florida's Lake Tarpon
TARPON SPRINGS, FL (WFLA) -- Florida Fish & Wildlife trappers have captured an unusual visitor to Lake Tarpon...a huge crocodile.
Wanda Vekasi saw it and at first thought it might be a cat tail or other vegetation floating in the water.
One thing she did know, it was no alligator.
"When we see a gator out here it just looks like a big long black board, and this was not black. It was you know yellowish looking," she said.
She quickly realized she'd spotted a crocodile.
