Former Fort Oglethorpe councilman denied appeal

FORT OGLETHORPE, GA (WRCB) -

A former Fort Oglethorpe city councilman's appeal was denied after accusations of sexual harassment.

Ousted member Charles Sharrock was removed last year.

Sharrock is accused of malfeasance, illegal conduct, and conduct unbecoming for allegedly hugging and kissing a police office in October of this year.

It marked the third allegation against the councilman, who was accused of similar incidents in 2008 and 2009.

He has 30 days to appeal to higher court.
