Good Monday. We will be a bit cooler today with highs in the mid 80s. The air is a bit unstable, which means that even with the lower temps, we will still see a few storms popping up late today into this evening.
The same general pattern will be in place Tuesday, with highs in the mid 80s once again.
For the second half of the week, our pattern will change a bit, allowing for more heavy rainfall to start July.
A trough of low pressure to our east will slowly back into the Tennessee Valley bringing a much higher likelihood of widespread rain and thunderstorms Wednesday through Friday.
Friday will see some of our heaviest rains as the trough will be on top of us through the day then.
Highs during that time period will remain in the low to mid 80s.
