We first reported to you a few weeks ago the rash of car break ins at the Riverbend Festival. A couple of newlyweds from Cleveland said the thieves took something irreplaceable from them - their wedding photos.
Brandon and Cindy Withrow said it took a lifetime to find each other, and they finally tied the knot May 25th.
They hired a photographer to capture the memories, but her laptop and backup hard drive were both stolen at Riverbend. So were the special images of the Withrow's wedding.
"We loved our wedding, it was right here in our backyard," said Brandon.
"Planned it for a year. We did all the decorations and everything ourselves, and it was...," said Cindy.
"It was beautiful," Brandon finished.
They worry those now vivid memories will fade. Their wedding photographer was in the process of editing the pictures when the unthinkable happened.
"She also was working at Riverbend and called us to let us know that her computer and her backup hard drive had been stolen out of her car before we ever got a chance to see the pictures," said Brandon.
The photographer was hoping to edit the pictures in her free time at the festival. Instead of happy memories, she had to hand over some terrible news.
The Withrows have some pictures their friends and family took, but those extra special moments are gone.
"There's pictures that I'll never have. The ones of me and my dad. The ones of the girls helping me get ready. The one of his mom helping him get ready. My mom passed away, so my aunt was sitting in for her. I don't have one picture with her from the whole wedding," said Cindy.
Empty spaces dot the walls of the Winthrow's home.
"We have spaces almost kind of saved all over the house, waiting on some of the pictures, some of these special pictures, that we had taken," said Brandon.
The Withrows are asking everyone to keep an eye out for a silver Dell 1525 laptop. The external hard drive is white with an orange UT sticker on it. Both were taken out of a white Jeep Liberty during the last weekend of Riverbend.
They're also willing to give a reward for the return of their pictures. You can give them a call at (423) 284-9555.
