A large gathering of people could not keep the peace on Fagan Street in Chattanooga on Saturday evening. It ended with a fight, four people shot, and a police chase.

According to a news release to Channel 3 Eyewitness News, CPD rushed to the 3800 block of Fagan Street just before 7:30 p.m. Someone called to report the crowd becoming unruly and gunfire started when an SUV stopped by. It is not clear whether the gunfire came from the vehicle or the crowd or both.

Shots were fired and the suspects fled the scene but were later arrested after a police pursuit. Police arrested Latrell Walker and Tevin Douglas. Both were charged with attempted murder, Aggravated assault, evading arrest, unlawful possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment.

Four people went to the hospital with gunshot wounds. Kristopher Moore, Tadarrel Oakley, Bennie Melton, and a juvenile male. Moore and the juvenile are in critical condition and the other two are stable.
