East Ridge Police investigate after man found with severe injuries

EAST RIDGE, TN (WRCB) -

East Ridge Police are investigating an incident after a man was found with traumatic head injuries.

Police say they responded to the 5300 block of B Marion Avenue.

They found 33-year-old Craig Garrett in the back yard of the location with several lacerations on his head as well as an open wound to the forehead.

Garrett was unable to communicate. Memorial EMS and East Ridge Fire Rescue provided emergency medical treatment and he was taken to the hospital.

The circumstances surrounding Garrett's injuries is not clear at this time.

East Ridge Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division is conducting an investigation into the incident. Anyone with any information in regards to the incident or in regards to the possible location of Garrett's blue 2007 Dodge pickup truck bearing Tennessee registration F7027U is asked to contact the East Ridge Police Department at one of the following telephone numbers.
