The new cache of Chattanooga firefighters is determined on making sure residents are "stayin' alive."

The graduating firefighter class released a video summing of their experiences during the six and half months in the fire academy, choreographed to the song "Stayin' Alive."

The video, posted on Youtube, is meant to be informative as well as entertaining. Chattanooga Fire spokesperson Bruce Garner says the video is meant to promote the value of firefighters, but also the value of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).

A second, longer video is posted to Youtube which includes the segment as well as real events and training as it happened from the graduating year.

The Chattanooga Fire Department makes a graduation video every year.
