T-Bones could use a cleaning, but 4 eateries tie with a 93
Dining out this weekend?
The inspectors at the Hamilton County Health Department had a great week reporting no failing grades among the more than 26 restaurants inspected.
Each week, we do give the low score and that's a 76. A failing grade is anything lower than a 70.
T-Bones Cafe on Chestnut Street gets the honor, and employees need to do a better job in the kitchen according to Chief Inspector Jack Falcon.
Inspectors found flies in the kitchen and the ice bin; cutting boards and dishwasher were dirty. They also found food left uncovered in the cooler, and the can opener needed a good cleaning.
The high score of the week is a four-way tie!
Hats off to Red Lobster at Hamilton Place, Jason's Deli on Gunbarrel, Terra Nostra on Frazier Avenue and La Cabriole on Burgess Road. All restaurants scored a 93.
