Brown and Brown win June CBA night tournament

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – The team of Rogne Brown and George Brown caught a five-bass limit weighing 25.39 pounds to take the win and the $2,000 first place prize in the Hunter Oil June CBA Open Night tournament this Saturday at Chester Frost Park. They were also the highest finishing Tow Boat U.S. member which was worth an extra $100.

Finishing in second place was the duo of Shaun and Andy Lusk with a limit weighing 24.60 pounds.

The Father and son team of Rocky and Harley Sutherland won the over-all big-fish honors with a giant largemouth bass weighing 8.22 pounds which earned them another $270. They were the highest finishing Youth Division Team and received a free entry into next month's night tournament.

Nick Chuba won the biggest spot award with a spotted bass weighing 1.79 pounds and earned them $90.

Patrick Brumlow and Brad Davis won the biggest smallmouth award with a smallmouth bass weighing 3.77 pounds and earned them $90.

The team of Thomas Henshaw and Dusty Elrod were the highest finishing new team in the event which earned them a free entry into next month's tournament.

2nd: Shaun Lusk and Andy Lusk with 24.60 lbs., $700
3rd: Barry Wingo and Jeff Hineman with 22.45 lbs., $550
4th: Steve Kite and Daniel Lewis with 21.85 lbs., $450
5th: John Mantooth and Matt Jenkins with 21.57 lbs., $325
6th: Marc Pratt and Tony Crouch with 21.57 lbs., $325
7th: Galen James and Tony Townsend with 21.30 lbs., $250
8th: Chris Grant and Mike Looney with 21.06 lbs., $200
9th: Robbie McGill and Wade Kilgore with 21.00 lbs., $150
