Zoo opens new "Forests of the World" exhibit

Posted: Updated:
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

The Chattanooga Zoo opened its doors Saturday to one of its most unique exhibits.

The Forests of the World exhibit kicked off Saturday and with it came very rare reptiles like the Komodo dragon.

The entire showcase will have about 30 new and very different lizards.

Several people came out to see the scaly creatures.

"You get to see two really uniquely different eco systems right here in our own zoo," says Chattanooga Zoo Director Darde Long.

The exhibit is the second installment of a two part series -- Deserts of the World opened last fall.
