Park rangers save woman's life after driving into water

Posted: Updated:

Boaters and park rangers are being credited with saving a woman's life who drove her car into the water at Dallas Bay at Chester Frost Park Friday afternoon.

Several boaters and parker rangers sprung to her aid, pulling her from the car to the nearby shore.

The driver appeared to have avoided serious injury from the incident. Despite this being a popular area for swimmers and boaters, no one else was injured.

Channel 3 Outdoors Contributor Steve Kite, told Channel 3 that "the rangers did a great job, saving this woman's life."

Investigators believe the woman may have been trying to end her life.
