Good Tuesday. The front that brought the rain is now moving east, taking the rain along with it. Now we will see heat and humidity settling in.
The normal high for this time of year is 86 degrees, and we will be well above that for the rest of the week.
Today look for highs to soar into the low 90s with dew points in the mid 60s. Skies will clear to partly cloudy this afternoon as high pressure settles in behind the front.
We will be even hotter tomorrow with highs in the mid 90s. I will put in a slight chance for an afternoon storms tomorrow ahead of another front that will push through on Thursday.
The front will slide through Thursday bringing widespread showers and storms.
Friday, in the wake of the front, we will be slightly cooler, especially in the morning. Morning lows will be in the low 70s through Thursday, then drop into the low 60s Friday morning.
Highs will drop into the upper 80s (still above normal) Friday into the weekend.
The weekend will be dry for the most part. We may see the stray storm or two Sunday ahead of the next front which brings more widespread rain to the area Monday.
