Good Tuesday. Enjoy the nice weather today. More rain is moving our way.
High pressure will continue to keep nice weather over the Tennessee Valley for one more day. We will see a few clouds, but overall nice with highs in the mid 80s.
Clouds will begin to move in tonight, and we could see a few isolated showers popping up on and off through the day Wednesday. This will be in advance of a front that will bring widely scattered showers and thunderstorms to the area Thursday.
One thing that is throwing a wrench in the forecast is an area of low pressure over the northern gulf / Florida. Some model data is suggesting that the front will some moisture from that low into the area Friday, while other models show the low getting pushed away by the front which would mean NO rain Friday OR Saturday.
Right now, I would expect showers Friday, and as Jake Owens takes the Coke Stage at 9:30, we may still see a few showers lingering around.
For the weekend we still look pretty good. At best, Saturday, we could see a few isolated morning showers, but most folks will be rain free both Saturday and Sunday.
Highs through the forecast will be in the low to mid 80s.
