PASCO COUNTY, FL (WFLA) -- Florida officials are still looking for the owners of the kangaroo captured on Sunday in Pasco County.

The Pasco Sheriff's Office in conjunction with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission caught the animal Sunday. It had been on the run since Saturday night.

Officials say, the kangaroo was spotted in Lacoochee.

The owners have not been located, although officials say a family living along Mickler Road does have a kangaroo farm. The farm has not claimed the kangaroo as their own.
