EPB warns customers of scam

Posted: Updated:

EPB is warning its customers about a possible scam.

The utility company released the information to customers on Facebook Wednesday.

Officials say some fiber optics customers have received emails claiming that EPB is upgrading its mail center, which requires user names and passwords.

EPB says it does not use email to confirm personal information.

They warn not to send any account information in response and to call (423) 648-1372 with any questions or concerns.
