Dierks Bentley will headline the Riverbend Music Festival June 12.

He will play on the Coke Stage at 9:30 p.m.

Dierks Bentley is a traditional country artist. His music has themes of lost or forbidden love, drinking and cheating. Ten of his singles have reached number one on the country singles chart and his first two albums are certified platinum.

Bentley grew up in Phoenix, Arizona but moved to New Jersey. Bentley spent a year at the University of Vermont before transferring to Vanderbilt University.

In 2003, Capitol Records signed Bentley and he released his first self titles album. The album went platinum and his single "What Was I Thinking" reached number one.

He has released six albums since, one of which went platinum and another which went gold. He has a new album "Riser" set to release in 2013.

Bentley has had 18 singles featured on the country singles charts, 10 of which reached number one.

Bentley has received numerous country honors including "Top New Artist" from the Academy of Country Music and CMT Performance of the Year for "Country Boy." He has been nominated for numerous Grammy's including "Best Male Country Vocal Performance," "Best Country Album" for Long Trip Alone and Up on a Ridge, and "Best Country Solo Performance."

He has toured with the likes of Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, and Brad Paisley.
