Reward offered in Summerville cemetery thefts

CHATTOOGA COUNTY, GA -

(WRCB) -- A north Georgia family is offering a reward for information in a cemetery theft.

Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader says 700 brass ornaments were taken off the iron fence that surrounds the Henry Family Cemetery in Summerville.

The missing brass is worth an estimated $3,500.

The couple, who first noticed them missing last week and reported the theft, is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
