Shelton and Gallager Take Top Spot in Ragland Bottom Open

SPARTA, TN (WRCB) – The Ragland Bottom Open held the fifth tournament of its twelve tournament season this Saturday, May 18th, on Center Hill Lake. There were 30 teams that participated in the event.

The team of Joe Shelton and Tim Gallager caught a five-bass limit weighing 19.56 pounds to take the win and the $770 first place prize.

Finishing in second place was the team of Josh and Chris Tramel with five fish weighing 17.36 pounds worth $460.

The duo also won the over-all-big-fish honors with a giant largemouth weighing 5.39 pounds which earned them an extra $580.

Ragland Bottom Open is a regular bass tournament for the serious and recreational anglers that love fishing Center Hill Lake in Smithville, TN.

The next Ragland Bottom Open regular season event will be a night tournament held on June 15th from 7pm till 3am.

Rounding out the top 3 places:
1st Place with 19.56 lb's - Joe Shelton & Tim Gallager Winning $770.00
2nd Place with 17.36 lb's - Josh & Chris Tramel Winning $460.00
3rd Place with 15.29 lb's - Robbie Jackson & Jason Bouldin Winning $300.00
