A North Carolina man has been arrested in connection with a July 15, 2012 death.
Investigators say 18-year-old Zechary Heath Golden was arrested in connection with the death of Billy Ray Arp.
Emergency responders found 61-year-old Arp lifeless at his home in Ranger, North Carolina in July of 2012.
Responders were called for a sick person call, but sheriff's deputies were called to the scene as his death appeared suspicious.
The cause of death was later determined to be consistent with homicide.
Golden was arrested after a 10 month investigation.
He is charged with second degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon. He remains in the Cherokee County Detention Center without bond.
The spill should be cleared early this afternoon, according to a news release from Chattanooga State.
