(WRCB) - Good Monday. Expect dense fog as you head out this morning. A fog advisory is in effect until 10am.
We saw about 2" of rain at the Chattanooga airport over the weekend, bringing our annual surplus to about 13" above normal.
Flood warnings are still in effect for a few counties through the morning.

After the fog burns off today, we will see partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 80s and quite a bit of humidity.
For Tuesday, we will be even hotter with a muggy high near 90, and only about a 20% chance of an isolated shower or storm.
A front will push in on Wednesday will bring more widespread showers and storms to the area, and we could see one or two showers lingering into Thursday as the low pressure moves by to our north.
Friday will see a pretty nice day with cooler weather settling in. Expect a high of about 80 with a slight chance of a late day storm.
For the weekend, we are looking good. Highs will be in the low 80s, and we should have lots of sunshine and lower humidity both Saturday and Sunday.
