Milling and Gross Win May TVBC Tournament

GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WRCB) – The Tennessee Valley Bass Club held the seventh tournament of its twelve tournament season this Saturday, May 18, 2013, on Guntersville Lake. There were 13 teams that participated in the event.

The team of James Milling and Buddy Gross caught a five-bass limit weighing 26.14 pounds to take the win and the $485 first place prize. The duo also won the $100 bonus for being the highest finishing Tow Boat U.S. member of the event.

The second-place team of Gary Davenport and Harold Coffman Jr. had five fish weighing 20.93 pounds. They also took big-fish honors with a largemouth bass weighing 5.91 pounds which earned them an extra $130.

Third place went to the duo of Mark Green and Ben Henson with five bass weighing 19.72 pounds.

The Tennessee Valley Bass Club will host their next event, June 22nd, 2013 on Chickamauga Lake out of Chickamauga Dam.
