(WRCB) -- T-Mobile, the cellular service provider, will have a hiring event today at their Chattanooga facility.

For the remainder of 2013, they are working to hire 272 people for their customer service center in Chattanooga. Candidates with sales and/or customer service experience are sought.

Benefits include 19 days per year of paid time off, eight paid holidays and hourly pay ranging from $11 - $13 per hour and eight weeks of paid training.

Initially, positions are for second shift, with opportunities to work day shifts after approximately a year of service, based on performance.

The hiring event will be Wednesday, May 15th, with two sessions from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.

There will be a presentation about benefits, compensation, job requirements, and shifts,
test on-site, as well as job shadowing and interviews.
