Second place in this $10,000 event went to the team of Dale Pelfrey and Jonathan Bowling with a five bass limit weighing 26.58 lbs. good for $3,000.

Third place and $2,000 went to the father and son team of Chuck and Brad James with 23.63 lbs.

Big fish in this event went to the duo of Steve Byram and Terry Everett with a giant 8.56 lb. largemouth good for $320.

Most anglers reported fishing a shallow water pattern using soft plastic creature baits to catch their fish.

Tournament Director, James Nuckols, said "What a great fishery we have here on Chickamauga Lake and we should do all we can to protect it and a special thanks to Phoenix Bass Boats for sponsoring these events and Dayton, Tennessee for hosting the events".

The next Bass Invitational Team Event will be held out of Rockwood, Tennessee on Watts Bar Lake, June 1, 2013.
