Posted: Updated:

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- Chattanooga managed just two hits against Mobile pitching Friday night, but it proved enough to beat the BayBears in a 4-3 finish at AT&T Field.

Joc Pederson hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the first and Yasiel Puig drove in a run on a ground out in the fourth. Chattanooga's only other run came when Puig crossed home before Griff Erickson was rung up on the back end of a double play.

Rafael Ynoa's double was the Lookouts' only other hit of the contest. Ynoa also walked once and scored two runs.

Rob Rasmussen (2-2) gave up just one run in six innings to earn the win. He scattered six hits and struck out five before turning it over to a trio of relievers. Yimi Garcia worked a perfect ninth for this eighth save of the season.

The two teams will play game four of the five-game set at 7:15 p.m. ET Saturday night.
