HAMILTON COUNTY, TN. (WRCB) -- The owners of a local cleaning company are in trouble with the law Wednesday.

Hamilton County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Janice Atkinson says Paul and Diane Brinson are charged with multiple counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.

Atkinson says the two allegedly stole prescription pads and an ink signature stamp from an office owned by several doctors that hired their company, Serve-Rite Facility Services.

The investigation revealed several forged prescriptions.

The case is on-going.

Atkinson says additional charges are pending.
