Charges against man accused of shooting at cop car sent to grand jury
Charges against a man accused of shooting at a Chattanooga Police officer have been sent to the Grand Jury.
Samuel Lemorris Ervin, 22, is accused of shooting Officer James Klein on March 16 on Fagan Street.
Investigators say Ervin shot Klein's patrol car five times when the officer was responding to a call.
Klein was not injured.

Ervin is charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and unlawful possession of a weapon.
