CHATTANOOGA -

(WRCB) -- An early-morning accident on East Brainerd Road Tuesday rolled a Jeep over, but resulted in no serious injuries, according to Chattanooga police.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Panorama Drive and East Brainerd Road, where two vehicles collided and the Jeep ended up on its roof.

Traffic, usually quite heavy along East Brainerd Road during the morning commute, began backing up quickly. The traffic began spilling backwards onto Interstate 75 at the East Brainerd Road eastbound exit.

Police are currently on hand to help control traffic and ease the congestion on the nearby roadways.
