Lowrie and Cantrell Win High School Bass Tournament

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The White County vs. Grundy County high school bass fishing tournament was held Saturday May 4th on Nickajack Lake, out of Shell Mound boat ramp.

The Grundy County team of Hank Lowrie and Dakota Cantrell topped the field to win this high school event with a five-fish limit weighing 19.34 lbs.

Big bass of the tournament was caught by Grundy County's  Dalton Summers, a nice 6.10 lb. largemouth.

Results are as follows:

1st - Grundy Co. - Hank Lowrie & Dakota Cantrell - 19.34 lbs.
2nd - White Co. - Brian Gay & Christian Nash - 16.73 lbs.
3rd - White Co. - Garret Turner & JordanJellinick - 16.19 lbs.
4th - White Co. - T.K. Kress &IsiahGardenhire - 13.44 lbs.   
5th - White Co. - Austinheh Roberts & Dustin Brock - 11.85 lbs.
6th - Grundy Co. - Dakota Travis & Zackary Hiett  - 11.77 lbs.            
7th - Grundy Co. - Dalton Summers - 8.81 lbs.                      
8th - White Co. - Ty Cloyd & Daniel Bray - 5.95 lbs.
9th - Grundy Co. - Tristan Owenby & Austin Jackson - 0     
10th - Grundy Co. - Samuel Morgan & Justin Grimes - 0
