Flooding causes problems on roadways

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- Flood Warnings have already been issued for parts of the Channel 3 viewing area.

Below is a link to the latest Flood Warnings around the Tennessee Valley including details about creek and river stages. Look for updates through the weekend as new warnings may be issued.

Current road problems by county:

Catoosa County

  • State Route 2 at Cherokee Valley - Flooding
  • Highway 21 - Flooding
  • Poplar Springs Road - Flooding
  • Mount Pisgah Road- Flooding
  • Three Notch Road - Flooding

Hamilton County

  • Shoal Creek Road - CLOSED until Monday for downed tree
  • 800 and 1000 block of Boyscout Rd - Flooded
  • 15000 block of May Road - Downed tree
  • 1500 block of Roberson Rd - Downed tree
  • 1200 block of Lower Mill Rd - Flooded, road completely under water
  • 9400 block of Lovell Rd - Downed tree
  • Patterson Rd at Rock Creek Road - Flooded
  • 3900 block of the W Road - Tree and power lines down

Bradley County

  • 1900 block of Old Harrison Pike - Flooded
  • Harris Creek Trail SW - Flooded
  • Blindswood Rd SW - Flooded
  • 2600 block of Chatta Valley Rd - Flooded
  • Valley View Rd - Flooded
  • Candies Ln - Flooded

Dade County

  • Sells Lane - Water in the road
  • Creek Road - Water in the road
  • Mason Road - Water in the road

Grundy County

  • No major problems reported

Marion County

  • Ladds Lane - Downed tree

McMinn County

  • State Route 305 near mile marker 5- Flooded

Meigs County

  • No major problems reported

Polk County

  • Browders Road- Flooded, closed at the bridge
  • 411 at Horns Creek Road - Flooded

Rhea County

  • Hwy 302 at Rock Quarry - Flooded, road closed
  • Wooten Road - Flooded

Whitfield County

  • No major problems reported

Walker County

  • No major problems reported
