MCMINN COUNTY, TN. (WRCB) -- A police chase lands a McMinn County man behind bars.

Aaron Michael Bain was taken into custody Wednesday, after leading police on a pursuit through Athens.

Police say Bain reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

After crashing and taking off on foot, police were able to catch the suspect.

He told them he had consumed several beers earlier in the day.

Police later discovered Bain was driving on a revoked license and the truck he was driving had been reported stolen the day before.
