Police increase reward in Red Bank drive by shooting

RED BANK, TN (WRCB) -- Red Bank Police have increased the reward for information in a drive by shooting.

Police say the reward has increased from $1,000 to $2,500 for information in the April 15 shootings in Red Bank.

Investigators say around 11 p.m., a dark sedan with multiple passengers fired shots at another car on Morrison Springs Road. The vehicle then shot at another vehicle on McCahill Road, striking the female driver.

The driver of the vehicle, Teddi Robinson, was shot in the arm and the bullet grazed her intestines.

Doctors patched the holes in her stomach, removed her gallbladder and parts of her colon.

"Right as I got up on the car I heard a bang. And I thought, 'Oh, they hit me'. I thought they hit me because my car was spinning and remember going into the ditches then up a hill," says Robinson.

Witnesses reported seeing a black, 4-door sedan, carrying four black males, flee the first crime scene.

Anyone with information in the two shootings is asked to call Red Bank police at (423) 875-0167 ext. 2101.

Investigators say the caller will remain anonymous.

Police say the extra money was given by an anonymous donor.
