UPDATE Scottsboro Police find 2 runaways in Stevenson, AL

SCOTTSBORO, AL (WRCB) -- Scottsboro Police have found two runaways out of Jackson County, Ala.

They were located in Stevenson, AL Tuesday night.

Family members say Tamara Travis, 16, and Alexis Herring, 16, were last seen April 24. A family member spoke to Travis on April 27, but she refused to say where they were.

The teens are not thought to be in danger. Police believe they may be in Bridgeport, Ala. or South Pittsburg, TN.

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of these two can contact the Scottsboro Police Dept. at 256-574-3333 or Det. Zackie Gant at 256-574-4468 Ext. 340.
