I-75 interchange in Bradley Co. among TDOT projects for bidding

BRADLEY COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -- A plan to improve the I-75 interchange at Exit 20 in Bradley County will be one of many projects open for bidding on May 24.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation released the list of projects open for bidding Tuesday.

TDOT will open bids for 97 contracts. There are 182 projects in total in 77 counties.

The reconstruction of the I-75 interchange will be among the projects considered.

A number of safety improvement projects, state industrial access projects, and intersection improvement projects across the state are also featured.

Bids will be placed electronically and TDOT will have 30 days to analyze each bid. TDOT will award contracts to the lowest responsible bidder.
