CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- Good Tuesday. Overall, our weather should be rather nice through the rest of the week as high pressure dominates the weather pattern. I would expect highs in the upper 70s and low 80s each afternoon with night time lows in the 50s.
Today will bring mostly sunny skies, but clouds will obscure much of the sky starting tomorrow.
Our weather through the weekend will be greatly determined by an area of low pressure and its associated front that will develop just to our west. The high pressure over our area now will keep that low to our west, and not allow it to bring much (if any) rain to the area through Friday.
The weekend is VERY "iffy". It looks as though we will see the high pressure eroding, allowing the front to slowly drift in, increasing our rain chances as we move through the weekend and into next week.
In terms of percentages, I would look for a 30% rain chance Saturday, increasing to 50% Sunday, and 60% for Monday and Tuesday.
We will also see quite a bit of cooling over the weekend. Lows will be near 50, and highs will be in the upper 60s.
