GEORGIA (WRCB) -- More than 2,000 jobs could be coming to northwest Georgia.

A major flooring company is considering building a new factory, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

A source close to the planning tells the AJC it is Engineered Floors, founded by former Shaw Industries chief Bob Shaw.

The job announcement could come in the next two weeks.

Governor Nathan Deal hinted at a major jobs announcement Monday during an event, but he declined to name the prospect.
