CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) - As Mayor Andy Berke works to fill positions in his administration, we are getting a look at what some of those positions pay.

City salary records, obtained by Channel 3, show Mayor Berke will earn a little more than $151,000 a year.

Berke's salary is about $4,400 more than 2011 records show Mayor Ron Littlefield was making.

Stacy Richardson will be making $70,000 a year as Senior Advisor and Chief Policy Officer.

Andrew Kean will earn $125,000 a year as Chief Operating Officer.

Both Richardson and Kean hold positions newly created by Berke.

Chief of Staff Travis McDonough will also earn $125,000, about $1,700 more than his predecessor.

We're getting a look at the salaries a week after the Chattanooga City Council voted unanimously in favor of Berke's plan to consolidate city departments.

Mayor Berke says the recent re-organization of city government will save taxpayers $370,000 a year in salaries and benefits.

According to 2011 salary information, the retirement and resignation of more than a dozen members of Mayor Littlefield's administration will free up more than $1.5 million.

Berke has not said if he will fill all the positions left vacant by members of the previous administration.

Berke announced three new appointments earlier today. Their salaries were not included in the information obtained by Channel 3.
