CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- Good Thursday. The rain is gone, and today will bring cool, dry weather with highs in the upper 60s under mostly sunny skies.
Tonight, the chilly air will continue filtering in. Lows will drop into the upper 30s and low 40s. There is even a Frost Advisory for the higher elevations for early Friday morning.
Friday afternoon, we see temps closer to normal, in the low to mid 70s.
We will also see clouds building through the day Friday ahead of low pressure that will likely bring scattered showers on and off through the weekend.
For Saturday, I don't think it will be a washout, but we will have cloudy skies with on and off showers through the day.
Expect the same Sunday. Rainfall amounts for the weekend are expected to hover around .50".
Highs this weekend will be in the mid to upper 60s.
We will dry out a bit Monday and Tuesday with highs in the mid 70s.
Another front will tap into warm, moist air in place on Wednesday and bring widespread showers and storms to the area Wednesday and Thursday.
