APISON, TN (WRCB) -- Workers and patients of St. Jude were on hand to sign the floor of the St. Jude Dream Home April 23 for the future resident.

The home, located at 3220 Hawks Creek Drive in Apison, is estimated at $350,000 and was built by G.T. Issa Construction.

Local patients and sponsors of the St. Jude Dream Home giveaway signed well wishes for whoever wins the house. Participants say the floor signing is a way to bless the home for the future residents.

Three St. Judes patients were also present to bless the home. The Million family has three children who are patients at St. Jude's Hospital.

The messages will remain and Shaw flooring will go over it.

Shaw provides all the flooring for all the dream homes across the country.

Tickets to win the home were $100 and all the proceeds go to benefit St. Jude'sHospital.

The winner will be drawn on Sunday, June 23, 2013, on WRCB Channel 3 at noon. This is the seventh year in a row Channel 3 has sponsored the Dream Home.

St. Jude is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. Children from all 50 states and from around the world have come through the doors of St. Jude for treatment, and thousands more around the world have benefited from the research conducted at St. Jude - research that is shared freely with the global medical community.
