Ringgold home damaged by fire

RINGGOLD, GA (WRCB) -- Catoosa County fire investigators are trying to determine how a home caught fire Sunday evening.

The fire broke out around 6:30 in the 300 block of Windmere Drive in Ringgold.

The homeowner tells Channel 3 the fire started in a basement closet and thinks it might be electrical in nature. Everyone made it out of the house safely.

There is no word on the exact amount of damage.
