HAMILTON COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -- Dallas Bay fire crews had their hands busy Saturday evening when a duplex went up in flames.

The fire happened just before 9 p.m. in the 6200 block of Teletha Lane.

Firefighters say they noticed smoke at the residence while responding to a separate call on Old Dayton Pike. When firefighters arrived, they said the back porch and back side of the duplex was on fire.

Officials say firefighters woke up neighbors in the adjacent building and got everyone out safely. Three people were displaced and will be staying with family.
