Heavy rain and wind to start the day

Posted: Updated:

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- A cold front moving through the Tennessee Valley this morning has been producing lots of wind and rain, but little else.

As the main line of rain/wind presses east, we will continue to see widely scattered showers through the rest of the morning.

By noon, we will really start to see our weather improving with clearing skies, and temps actually cooling into the upper 50s.  Temps will rebound a bit, but should stay in the low 60s with the sun coming out somewhat late this afternoon.

Tonight, the cooler weather will continue moving in with lows dropping into the upper 30s.

Saturday and Sunday will be amazing.  Highs Saturday will be in the low to mid 60s, and we will climb into the low 70s Sunday.

Good Thursday.  We have another bitterly cold start today with temps in the low to mid 10s this morning.  Fortunately, our winds are fairly calm this morning so wind chill won't be as much of an issue heading out.
