Doctors try to curb antibiotic overuse
(WSLS) Toddler Kayden Ibrahim is all smiles now, but his mom says his first year was a challenge because he had seven ear infections.
"We tried the antibiotics then we tried something else. We tried a different strength and that was probably three ear infections later. Then after the fourth one, we were like this is not working," mother Nour Ibrahim explains.
Aware of the chance for resistance, after the four rounds of antibiotics, she didn't want to keep giving him medicine.
