CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- (WRCB) -  We have a good spring mix of weather coming our way this week.

We will start with a warm up that will take us to the mid to upper 70s today with a mix of sun and clouds.

We may be a little breezy throughout the day as southerly winds bring in the warm air at 10-15 mph.

That southerly wind flow will continue into Tuesday and Wednesday allowing temps to climb into the low 80s both days.

Because the air is being transported in from the Gulf of Mexico, it also has a bit of moisture in it.  With the increase in temperature and humidity, we will be ripe for thunderstorms if a cold front were to come in and lift that warm, moist air highs into the air.

That will happen with a cold front that will be pushing in Thursday.  We can expect a line of potentially strong storms Thursday.  While the timing may change, right now it appears the storms will rumble through during the late morning or early afternoon Thursday.

Behind the front, we will cool down for the weekend with a low of 38 and a high of 65 Saturday!
