Out-run the police this weekend

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- This weekend, why not see if you can out-run the police?

The International Brotherhood of Police Officers and Scenic City Multisport sponsoring a Fuzz Run, with distances of 1k, 5k, and 10k.

The races' goals are to help build stronger relationships between the community and the local police departments.
 
The 10k and 5k courses will start at Renaissance Park and run across the Market Street Bridge, onto Riverfront Parkway, and then onto the Riverwalk.  After running through the Art District, runners will cross Walnut Street Bridge and finish at Coolidge Park.
 
The race is  Saturday, April 6 and starts at 7:30 a.m. with a cost of $20 for the 1k, and $30 for the 5k and 10k.  

Proceeds go to the International Brotherhood of Police Officers to assist officers with law enforcement education, training, and the purchase of needed tools.
