Weather improving, but rain for Easter

Posted: Updated:

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- If only it were Easter Thursday!

Our weather will be slowly improving through the end of the week.  Skies will be clearing out, and winds will be light.  Temperatures will be warming a bit.  Today will be in the mid 50s, and we will reach 60 Thursday afternoon with mostly sunny skies.

Clouds will start to build Friday, and we may see a few isolated showers Friday night.

Expect clouds and the occasional shower through Saturday as well with highs in the low 60s.

We will have widespread rain and even a few thunderstorms through the day Sunday.  I would even expect rain showers in the morning for the "sunrise" services.  Highs Easter will remain in the low 60s.

Sunday night into Monday we will clear out and I expect a high of 65 Monday afternoon.
