CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- A Silverdale Baptist Academy sophomore is recovering after being involved in a stabbing at a Pennsylvania Target store Monday.

Sixteen-year-old Allison Meadows was one of four people injured when a suspect entered a Target in Pittsburgh and allegedly went on a stabbing spree.

The suspect, Leon Raymond Walls, is a 41-year-old homeless man. He stabbed Meadows and cut several others at the store.

Meadows was stabbed in the arm several times, as well as the back, which caused her lung to collapse. She underwent surgery at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh to repair the wounds Monday night, and later updated her recovery via her Twitter page.

"Hey y'all. This is actually Allison...thank you all so much for your prayers! I will try to get back with you all as soon as I can. ❤ Y'all!" she wrote around midnight ET.

Meadows' father also kept Allison's followers updated on her status, relaying via Twitter his daughter made it through successful surgery around 9 p.m. ET.

Her injuries and those of the three others are believed to be non life-threatening. She is expected to make a full recovery.

The suspect Walls is in custody and has been charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Restraint, Possessing Instruments of a Crime, Simple Assault and Resisting Arrest.
